Review: Samsung Galaxy Note for AT&T
The calling and contacts applications on the Galaxy Note don't appear to make any significant changes over previous Samsung Android phones.
The software dialpad pops up when the phone button is pressed. From there, it is easy to access the call log, favorites, and the main contact list.
The Galaxy Note for AT&T includes the Samsung Buddies Now home screen widget. It lets you populate home screen panels with links to up to nine buddies. If you want to look at a buddy's entire contact card, simply press their face and you'll be taken into the contact application. This app can be used instead of setting a handful of contact shortcuts to the home screen.

AT&T Announces New LTE Smartphones
AT&T today announced six new LTE phones, some with record-breaking high-resolution cameras. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ion, an Android phone with a 12-megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and 4.7-inch full HD display. A front camera also supports 720p capture.
T-Mobile's Galaxy Note to Ship with Android 4.0
T-Mobile USA today announced the pending availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note, which it says will arrive in the coming weeks. T-Mobile's variant of the Galaxy Note includes the same 5.3-inch display, 8-megapixel camera, and S Pen functionality of the AT&T version, but will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung's Premium Suite S Pen enabled applications, and support for T-Mobile's HSPA+ network at 42Mbps.
Samsung Says Android 4.0 Headed to Note in Q2
Samsung today announced that it will be distributing a large "Premium Suite" system update to the Galaxy Note during the second quarter that includes Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and other new features. The update will add a number of new S Pen-optimized apps to the Note, including Shape Match and Formula Match, which help correct and digitize geometric shapes and numeric formulas.
Samsung Galaxy Note Hits AT&T Feb 19 for $299
AT&T and Samsung today announced that the Galaxy Note Android smartphone will be available starting February 19. It will cost $299.99 with a new agreement.
