Google Adds NYC Subway System to Maps for Mobile

Today Google announced that it has added a new layer to its Google Maps for Mobile product. Smartphones running the BlackBerry, S60 and Windows Phone operating systems will be able to see a new layer that overlays NYC subway routes onto a map. Users can activate it by turning on the "Transit" layer in the menu systems of these phones. It can also be used to map out directions that take advantage of public transportation.

Subway is where I get my sandwiches made.

Lame, I know thats why I waited until the end of the day. To bother as few ppl as possible.

Now that's cool

As a born and raised New Yorker I say that is one cool feature. If you've ever tried to get around in a NY city subway you know what I mean.
Agreed. This is a 2 Thumbs Up Feature.... New Yorkers big ups. This for you! Razz Now... lets hope your phone works down there.
