AT&T to Debut the Moto X On August 23
AT&T today announced that the Motorola Moto X will be available beginning August 23. The black and white versions will be sold online and in stores on the 23rd, while the customized version can be ordered via Moto Maker beginning the 23rd. Moto Maker lets customers design their own Moto X with different colored back plates and accents, as well as add customized greetings, wallpapers, and signatures on the back. AT&T is charging $199.99 for the 16GB version and $249.99 for the 32GB version. With AT&T Next, the 16GB model will cost $27 per month and the 32GB model will cost $32 per month.

Motorola today announced the Moto G, its mid-range powerhouse. The phone has a 5-inch HD screen, 13-megapixel main camera, and 5-megapixel user-facing camera.
More Carriers and Phone Makers Agree to Adopt Google's RCS-Based 'Android Messages' Service
Google today said more wireless network operators and handset manufacturers will use Android Messages, its RCS-based messaging service, as the default SMS/MMS tool on their phones. (Android Messages was previously known as Google Messenger.) Some of the features of RCS, which is a global standard, include group chat, high-resolution photo sharing, advanced calling features, and read receipts.
Motorola Launches Maker for Moto 360 Smartwatch
Motorola today added the Moto 360 smartwatch to its Moto Maker design tool. The online tool lets people design their own smartwatch, with some limitations.
Motorola Debuts 64GB Moto X
Motorola today made a new version of the Moto X available with more internal storage. The Moto X can now be purchased with 64GB ($449), 32GB ($399), or 16GB ($349).
