Motorola and Verizon Wireless today announced the RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD. Both phones run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a Jelly Bean update planned to reach them before the end of the year. They have dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processors, 4G LTE, and sleek designs similar to the 2011 Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX. Both the RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX feature the same 4.7-inch ColorBoost display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, which Motorola says has 85% more color saturation than an iPhone 4S. The RAZR HD has a 2500mAh battery and boasts a talk time of 16 hours. It measures 8.4mm thick. The RAZR MAXX HD boosts the battery size to 3000mAh and boasts 21 hours of talk time. It measures 9.3mm thick. Other features include microSD card support, Google Chrome preinstalled, NFC, Gorilla Glass, Quick Settings widget, and Motorola Smart Actions. Motorola and Verizon said the RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX will be available before the holidays. Pricing wasn't disclosed.
