Best "PHONE" Verizon offers...
If your main use for a cell phone is to use it's ability to be a portable telephone, then this phone is for you... One of the very few Verizon phones that DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO BUY A DATA PLAN As for similar phones I have had the W755, A840, VU30, VX8300, VX8360 & others (the W766 is now replacing my LG VX8360) ================================= PROS: Great signal grabbing and holding... The V710 is a "FAIR" phone... BUT...
PROs: Great internal display Very good Reception Very good Speakerphone Expandable memory MP3 Ringtones Voice “Name” and “Digit” dialing Fair battery life (for 800mah) CONs: * External Display is all but useless * Both displays, useless in sunlight * Keypad has gloss finish, causing glare * Keypad has a terrible backlight system * Keypad has no tactile feedback * Keypad has cheap look and feel * Earpiece requires careful placement over ear canal (or ear lobes block output, and volume drops considerably) * The navigation & menus are very “old-school” * Camera indoors = laughable (you ...
