Didnt mean to cause a ruckus. The instinct is a very attractive phone and when my friends and coworkers asked to see my phone, it would be nice to have my contacts, recent calls and text messages locked so that people can view the features and not my personal info.
Motorola razrs krzr allow you to lock individual applications. I just think that the instincts security feature should have extended to locking personal info without locking the complete phone.

Like I said its not the issue of hiding naughty text or nude pics. I have had phones that allow you to lock individual features. So that features that cost additional money can not be accessed. In addition, information such as texts, contacts, calendars should be locked in case you lose your phone. Will U S Cellular ever get phones with full qwert keyboard?
Is there a reason why U S Cellular doesn't get contract on phones that have a a bigger qwert keyboard. While the Motorola Q and the Blackberry phones were a coop for them to offer, It would be nice if they offer something similar to T-Mobiles sidekick or Sprints rumor or any of the other phones that has a full qwert keyboard with bigger buttons. MOTOROLA Q - WHAT WILL USCELL ALLOW US TO DO?
What will US Cellular restrict in this phone. It took until the Krzr and the modified Razr phones to allow us to download mp3's which in turn allowed us to make our own ringtones.
With the Q coming out, will it be full internet service? Can we use the Q as a mp3 player and if so will they allow ua to use a data cable without restrictions.

Cool Phones with no Amenities Means Nothing
Im not understanding US Cellular customers. Why get excited about phones. Especially the razor. Have you guys seen this phone? First of all it has a sub par camera very pixelated. The phone looks incredibly cool but what the eye candy without the taste.
US Cellular is still going to remove the cool features of the phone i.e.. data cable access, mp3 playback, memory card use.

The only thing I dont like is that when using the insurance, they only allow you to receive the same brand phone that you originally had. no exceptions. They could at least offer you a percentage towards another phone if you choose.
They would only give you a differnet brand if the phone you have is discontinued and ou still do not have a choice of which phone you want.
