It installed perfectly on my phone. Synced my calendar flawlessly as well. I didn't do anything special, not sure what to tell you but have you tried deleting the application and reinstalling it.
Wifi with Suncom
I cannot get the wifi feature to work properly. I can connect to my wifi connection but when I do, it breaks my internet connection, as it, I have to unplug my router for 10 secs and plug it back in for it to work at again. So I had to turn off wifi on the phone so it wouldn't mess up my internet connection anymore. Then when I do get it working again, it won't use that ...
Suncom and Wifi
I just bought the Blackberry Pearl 8120 with Wifi, however I can connect to my wifi connection at home with it but cannot use the wifi connection. I called Suncom tech support and they don't even support wifi. I just love how everyone is making a big deal about Suncom releasing a wifi phone when they don't even support wifi. If anyone has been able to use their wifi connection, please let me know! I just can't get it ...

I have had this phone for almost 2 months now and found to have no major problems on the Suncom network. I have also found out that the minor complaints are just due to lack of reading the owner's manual! Overall this phone and the V400 which my husband uses have been really good.

Try lowering the volume by pressing the side button on the right side during the call. Another tip is turn off Key Volume in ringer detail...it will prevent the delayed beeps and make speakerphone calls to automated call centers less annoying.

Yes it does with speakerphone but to solve that problem you can do 1 of 2 things:
Permanent solution: In Ringer Style detail, change Key Volume to 0.
Temp (per call solution): Change your phone to silent. Make your call and change the ringer style back to where you had it.

I will confirm the above message. You can have multiple numbers per contract!
When in Phonebook Edit mode, scroll down to ...MORE... (it's past the first screen) to add an additional number for that contact. (I don't think some people scroll far enough down).
Once you set your phone book to view only primary contacts (instructions in previous message)...to view other numbers you simply VIEW the contact and use the arrow key to scroll down!
