Thanks for all your efforts, "Mr. Helpful!" :D :D I'll be sure to address you directly in the future, since you're a virtual treasure trove of useful info and pleasant attitude. Why bother with a forum? - you should open your own support site. Thanks a bunch!

My wife uses the earpiece with the 6000, and would like to answer the phone without opening it. Are there voice commands to answer and end calls?

Who knows how to make the keys stay backlit longer?

That's my first question. My second is my wife wants her phone to ring and vibe, but on the "High & Vibrate" setting, the ringer is way too loud. Any way to lower the volume but still have the vibrate function on? Maybe a hack to adjust what "high" is. Thanks...

thanks for your help - we actually went today and exchanged the v710s. I went the cheap but super-reliable route with the Nokia3589i, and my wife got the LG VX6000. I think we'll be OK with these for now. We'll see what's down the road for BT-enabled VZW phones. :)

We've just moved to Knoxville from Nashville, and are having a lot of trouble with our Sprint service. Anyone else having these problems? Thanks.

Well, that's the problem - We actually have Sprint, but are having to drop it because the coverage is lacking where we live now. In Memphis and Nashville is was great, but in Knoxville we're getting spotty service. Verizon has the best system in this area - unfortunately. Plus, my in-laws and lots of our friends here have it, further pushing us in that direction. We're actually headed to the Verizon store today to return the ...

Anyone who has seen what VZW has hobbled the potentially wonderful Moto v710 should be very wary about this phone coming to VZW. Any thoughts?

Big ?: If I return my v710, which Verizon phone to get?

Well, we're pretty bummed with the v710. It's a big letdown. We're still in the 15 day trial, and thinking of returning them. It's really hard to believe the hype regarding software fixes, and these phones were really expensive. So...can anyone familiar with the other options at Verizon suggest another good phone as a replacement? Thanks.
