I tried Ballistic and it was good. But Otterbox is the best in my opinion. http://www.accessorygeeks.com/otter box-waterproof-cases.html

Galaxy Note opinons?

I am currently using Galaxy Note (AT&T version) and I am quite satisfied. But since it has huge display, there would be other opinions for this phone. Any experience?

Samsung Captivate

Does anyone have an idea when the 2.3 update will be coming to At&t's Samsung Captivate? I know the 2.3 update has been released in May, but I'm not quite sure if it is even in the US yet.

Wouldn't you have to factory reset your phone?

Android 2.3 OS (Gingerbread) was supposed to be out a while ago. They are actually lagging it! I still have not received my upgrade date, I guess I am impatient too!

Doesn't rooting have some downsides?

Vibrant & G2X would be my top choices.

Cannot wait for 2.3 for all Samsung Galaxy S line. Honeycomb is just too far away.

Re: Motorola Atrix 4g vs. Motorola Droid Bionic

The Atrix 4G is a solid powerhouse phone. It's fast with a lot of memory. It has a lap top dock which you can hook up to, which is convenient for business men and women. The Bionic is similar with capabilities, speed and memory, however, it is from Verizon. The service provider makes all the different to me when the phones are virtually similar.

That is horrible. I think I would've exploded on every customer service representative I talked to. What I don't get is, how can they keep charging you even after you've canceled your account and paid for the early termination fee? Wouldn't that mean that the contract between you and Sprint would be over?

If you like the Jabra style bluetooth's, you should try using the Blueant. I've had it for a couple months now, close to a year and I've been using it quite often. Most of the Bluetooth's are the same, but I took a liking to this one. I've had Motorola & Plantronics bluetooth devices, but this one is by far the best. The Ear hook is padded for comfort and the conversations are crystal clear. I found ...

Re: AMOLED Screens

in the Techs & Trends forum

Well, I have the Samsung Galaxy S: Captivate and the Super AMOLED screen is awesome. I put a screen protector over it and the screen still seems to be crisp and clear. The Super AMOLED screen is supposed to be one of the best screens out on the market today. I can't see how you would see pixels on the screen. The 4 inch Super-Amoled Display has a WVGA resolution and 16 million colours. You can't go wrong with ...

High end. I have had quite a few BT devices in my days, but the one I've settle on is the BlueAnt Q2 headset in platinum black. This BT is premium quality sound that is superior in its class. It comes with USB cable, charger, a small case, and everything else you need.

I've had an Incipio case. They are kind of expensive but well worth the money. Incipio cases are very stylish and sleek, but they add excellent protection. My iPhone was perfect for this particular case because it fit all the curves perfectly without any space left unfilled.
