I know how her mother is too, and to be honest I probably wouldn't have went if I knew she would be there. I had just assumed she was out that night or something.
I yearn for the days of yesteryear when parties were sneaked while parents were out of town. All this honesty and open-ness is screwin' with my good time!
So apparently I was right to be concerned about last Friday,
but surprisingly the issue was not with who was invited, but rather with my friends mother. At like 2 in the morning she went into a manic fit after having a few drinks and started blaring music extremely loudly all night. After almost getting to the point where we could sleep even with the music going she turned it off at about 4 and started ranting at us about how the public school system tried to force her daughter ...
The things that were said that day went a little further than your brief summary as well.
My whole opinion of him shifted on that day.

Well, that's part of the concern.
They drink a little differently than I do. And that difference is primarily in the massive gap in quantity from my understanding.
A friend of mine from high school is having a birthday get-together thing tonight.
But I saw the list of other invitees and it is filled with unsavory people I barely get along with. Really my friend is the only person I like at all who will be there.
I don't want to be rude since it's her birthday and I haven't seen her in years, but I am concerned the even will be quite miserable.

Finally got back around to it after leaving it for a few months. I'm just on the last set of levels, overall it's probably one of the highest concentrations of "clever" and great game design I've seen in one place. Every world has a different gimmick to the puzzle solving, and every one of them could be its own full game.
I'm anxious to get home and finish it.
I despise that phrase.
I cringe everytime I hear somebody say "in a minute" like that.

This is a fantastic concept and if they can pull it off could lead to a drastic increase of adoption of this technology.
Actually,
considering the history that the lounge has for attracting timeclones I would say that this is a distinct possibility.
