I just traveled to Florida from Michigan. I tethered my LG 8350 with my laptop and I can tell you it worked wonderful - even in the car! I found it to be as fast as my DSL connection at home.
5GB for 50 bucks, no contract and you can cancel and only be charged by what you used for the month. Very simple and reliable.

You can program the Voicemail number to autodial your password by coding a "soft pause" after the *86, then entering your 4 digit password and #. Go into your contacts menu, and the Voicemail contact, choose "Edit". After the *86, use the right soft key to enter a pause, you should be given an option of hard or soft, or wait or 2-sec, choose soft or 2-sec, then enter your 4 digit code, #, and save it.
The speakers!
They look like boomers! Anyone know if they are as good as the LG8300 speakers?
Voice Memo/Record Feature
The only issue I have with the Motorola Entice is the voice recording feature. In the past (with LG phones) you could record your callers voice during a call. Very convenient when you are driving, for example, and cannot write down the information the caller is providing.
On the Entice, only YOUR voice is recorded during a call. I know this isn't a major problem but just wondering if anyone shares my thought on this.
