The size would be 176x220 or you can use 240x320 that is what i use..

I was trying the samething with the P2Kommander and Bitpim they both dont work with my phone.. What i do is get a ringtone that is 29 or 30 seconds long save it and then send it to my phone. I sign in to my Verizon account and minimize it then i go to my email i type in 1235551212@vzwpix.com which is ur cell number go to attach find the ringtone u want click on it and then send ...
