The Wireless60 of phones
Pros:
It does the usual phone things
It is waterproof
Cons:
This phone struggles to turn on. Sometimes pressing the 'on' button results in the backlight turning on, but it merely returns to what looks like an 'off' status.
Battery life is 2-4 hours even in standby, though I really do expect my phone to survive overnight and at least halfway through my work day.
So many recharges requires replacing the power connector, and the cover on the jack has proven merely to be annoying for my hands. by that I mean that opening it requires both of them and a few tries with such short fingernails.
I'm still trying to turn it on as I type--looks suspiciously like a totally-dead phone right now.
When it was on, the thing seemed like I was trying to run Windows 7 on an IBM PC-AT. It's unnervingly slow.
Holding the thing provides a challenge--both hands are once again necessary.
The camera is flat-out useless. People say it's mediocre, whereas this particular camera produces images like a potato blossom.
The screen is flatter in useless.
It looks like mine specifically has a rare bug that disables everything but the "Charge Only" when connected to a PC. Android 4.0.3 (which I daresay is quite outdated). Researching this problem only reinforces how rare it is and that no one has an answer for it yet. This will not stand for an app developer, which I am.
Overall, the waterproofing of the device seems like a novel concept, but the downsides to this phone make practicality a joke. Besides, I don't drop my phone in puddles and find absolutely no reason to use it near a pool (as advertised), because at the pool I am so daring as to be with friends with whom I dare to talk. Save the waterproof devices for cameras, please.

Think Again
Carrier: Boost
The only thing good about this phone is that's it's water proof.
You can not see emoticons, the camera quality is terrible it has no front camera by the way and sometimes when you attempt to turn it on all you see is a black screen and this is when I first got it. Not to mention even when the phone is fully charged it only last you 2 to 3 hours. Right now this phone has tricked itself into thinking the memory card us full but it is not as tested on other phones. This phone wasn't smartly put together, the memory card was put under the battery which means you have to remove the battery to insert a memory card which is a bad idea because when put back in the phone temporarily erases all the information on your memory card and it takes about a day or 2 to get it back. I feel like the phone itself is a virus because when going into an app it instantly sends me back out and it takes me about 9 tries to actually go in an app. The phone freezes everyday especially when you take it of airplane mode. That's when I have to go through the process of taking the battery out and starting the phone over. The price is great but its not even worth a dollar. So think again
Battery life
Carrier: Boost
Battery life is not what it claims to be. I should not have to charge once /day. not when the phone is not in constant use. The phone is on the eco mode.
Why should I have to travel with a charger? surely you can do better than that

Who are you kidding???
Carrier: Boost
You would do better with a pair of cans and some string.
This is the worst Android I have owned.
If you need to swim or bathe while taking calls, or your down on funds, okay for now.
The phone is always stuck or frozen.
Bluetooth functionality of the stoneage.
Phone feels more mechanical then electronic, because there's always something moving around inside of it, even when not on vibrate mode.
Phone will double call the same person, tying up their call waiting.
I'm afraid in an emergency, I will't be able to make a call.
Auto back repeats, over and over of the same pics, tying on your card space.
Tethering feature will only work with EXTRA funding to your account, unless you download Pdanet or a similar program.

Hydro Black offered by Terracom
I got my Hydro Black from Terracom Wireless
I has 2-4 hours battery life (regardless of standby or talking)
NO hot spot or tethering AT ALL
NO SD card was included!
When its charging it bug's out and becomes unresponsive and very hard to accurately touch things.
Phone will not update itself when trying to update firmware, droid OS, ect, but does update apps fine.
This is a nice phone for the price even with my complaints, I would buy another if I needed one.
It is water proof. I put it in water a few times and the phone is great.
User available memory for apps and such is very nice, mine came with around 900mb available for use. So i added a 32gb card for music, movies ect, and it meets all my needs. NOTE be VERY careful when installing the SD card, its in a ZIF socket under the battery. Remember "ZIF" = Zero Insertion Force. Slide it into the pop up slot and gently press down.
Enjoy :)
Spectacular
Every single feature on a phone is average to slightly better on this one except:
Display. Look at the specs here, and if you can live with that you'll do fine. It doesn't wash out in sunlight nearly as bad as some other phones I've had (ZTE Warp, I'm lookin' at you).
Camera. The ZTE Warp (again ...) despite popular reviews has a FANTASTIC camera. The Hydro ... not so much. It's OK. Just OK, not horrid or anything.
Thanks to ICS this thing runs silky smooth for the specs.
Decent earpiece speaker and external. Good signal. Just the right size for me. Easily worth $50 more than it costs IMO. Very Happy. Using on Boost Mobile.
First ~ Last
Kyocera Hydro... It's the first smart phone I've ever owned... I couldn't have picked a better phone...
Pros: Where do I start...
1} Waterproof and Milk-proof... yes Milk-proof...
Dropped mine in a glass of milk by accident...
No Problem B-)
2} Fast and easy to text, email, Internet access...
With Boost mobile {Sprint}
3} Swype feature it's unreal...
4} Do I dare say more... Why aren't you at the store.
I would give this phone a 5 star rating...
Cons: I can't think of one single bad thing to say...
No joke... All around Awesome phone B-)
VERY Polished!
Well.. I have had alot of cell phones with BoostMobile in a short time as my handle reads I'm a cPhoneJunky!
I had the prevail, marquee, and now the hydro.
Pros:
Android Ice Cream Sandwich
Long battery life with Juice Defender
(7am-6pm before new charge)
Is waterproof - I put bottom half of phone in a glass of water. No problem!)
Takes awesome photos
NO contract with BoostMobile - Month to Month
$40 per month after Shrinkage Plan for unlimited data, text & talk
good size - can get out of pocket fast unlike marquee
nice textured removable back plate
Cons:
slippery phone at first until you adjust to it..
no front facing camera, which i never used on my marquee so no big deal.
I have had this phone for only a week and think its got it all. Without a battery saver app it falls short but that is an easy fix. =] A MUST have device and for the PRICE it is even BETTER! 5 stars!!
At Last
At last . . . $129 phone with WiFi, 4G, touch screen, and Android 4, and all the stuff that go with it. I have movies, Rhapsody, games, Navigation, Location, and I am a happy camper.
