Failed Potential
I purchased this phone for several reasons: the snapdragon processor, the price, and promises by two Verizon reps and the sales person that I could upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 when it is released. Also, I was expecting a bit more from such a recently released phone. The phone seems to promise versatility and a positive experience. So far, that is not the case.
To begin with the positive, it does have a very nice physical QWERTY keyboard. It is almost, but not quite, on par with the keyboard on my old ENV3.
However, this phone reveals several major flaws after just a little bit of use. There is no threaded messaging. The touchscreen is not always that responsive. It was sometimes difficult to check the boxes or radio buttons in certain apps. The touch screen keyboard in portrait mode is a bit cramped. You cannot customize ringtones, and the media player consistently loses files. But the most annoying feature that will bother many users is how slooow the GPS is. If Windows Mobile is aimed at the business world, it should expect users to need apps that reference GPS. I called Verizon technical support after waiting 15 minutes for Bing to find my location (Weatherbug was only a little faster at thirteen minutes). My signal strength was good. The Verizon techs confirmed that all of the settings were correct. They found a Fathom in their office and tried it. Their take was that some phones are just slow, and this was one of them. The phone has also locked once. It is interesting that a reset button is built into the side of the phone. Perhaps the engineers at LG knew something was wrong.
Setting up email is not efficient, either. I still cannot send mail from one of my accounts. Many of these failings may be the fault of Windows Mobile, and not LG. This is my first experience with the OS, and obviously I made a mistake. I was looking for support for MS Office, but it wasn't worth it.
The phone has a solid feel, but is a bit heavy compared to many other smartphones.

Yes it's was good as it gets,but then for I have no idea-reason it shuts off and I can't turned it on. I changed a new buttery,reset phone but its a same result ...
So ,if anyone know what to do ,help me please.

having used the tp2 , the imagio, and finally the trophy and having on hand the droid x and the htc rezound - i must say that if you are looking for the best in ms exchange /windows live integration - this phone takes all the others in spades. essential is flashing a clean ROm and utilizing apps such as Resco's and SKTools ....
