So far, so good
I recently signed up for Cricket service in the Portland, OR area and picked up this phone for $50 at the store (no rebates or anything). So far, I'm impressed with it. It's great for texting because it's not laggy when you press buttons (like some of the Cricket phones I've read reviews for) and the WAP browser is nice. The calls are clear and the volume is loud.
It has a few games on it (which aren't too great), but I like that it has 3 alarms because some days I work early and others I work late.
This phone is great for anyone like me who is stuck at work without internet access or limited internet access. I use it all the time to check my myspace and facebook (using the mobile version of the sites since it can't install the apps). I also like that the texting is responsive because I can't stand having to wait for a slow phone to keep up with me.
In all, this is great little $50 phone for people on the go who want internet and texting. It would be nice if the phone had a camera, but then again, that would make it more expensive, so it's a catch 22 on that. Aside from the lack of camera, I love it.
