MHz

(Megahertz)

A unit of frequency equal to one million cycles per second (Hertz).

1 GHz = 1,000 MHz = 1,000,000 KHz = 1,000,000,000 Hz

Wireless mobile phone communications in the United States occur in various specific bands that span approx. 600 - 2,700 MHz.
