AT&T Wireless today introduced "mMode Pix," a service that lets people use their wireless phone to take pictures and instantly send them to any email address. mMode Pix uses a digital camera accessory with the Sony Ericsson T68i phone. In addition, customers can subscribe to premium on-line digital photo albums services. The company said that it plans to extend photo-messaging services by adding more devices and applications in the near future. mMode and mMode Pix are available exclusively on AT&T Wireless' GSM/GPRS network, which the company plans to extend nationwide - excluding markets recently acquired through Telecorp - by the end of the year.
