I decided to go with Helio because my company started to carry them, I'd seen them advertised, and heard their credit approval was easy; which it was. Overall, I'm obsessed with Helio AND my "device".

PROs:
*user interface rules
*Stereo quality speakers are sweet
*camera is awesome
*video recorder is out of this world for vga
*display options and features are awesome
*music button, video button- easy access to the media and clips
*games are SWEEEeeeeet everyone at my work takes my phone to use the gaming

CONs:
*phone has already frozen or delayed twice
*going on myspace really ISN'T all that awesome.. I mean its better than a basic phone but most of the pictures wont even load
*text messaging/phone book is boring.. BORING. its so basic
*NO BLUETOOTH!!!!!! WHAT?? this phone has everything and no bluetooth?? :(

overall i think it's easily the best out of the three offered. the drift is boring, and the kick flip eventually would get annoying.

overall i'm really pleased tho =)

AWESOME PHONE!!

I Have been using the New Helio (Pantech) Hero Device for about 2 weeks so far. it is really awesome. I love the 2 megapixel camera, the light it ultra bright lights up a room ive used it as a flashlight. its a very solid well built phone doesnt feel flimsy at all. the web its great the large display is awesome for browsing myspace and ebay and other web sites. The mp3 player works great alot of memory in the phone, but it did not come with a memory card even though it has the memory card slot available so I had to get one to add some more memory.

I also downloaded the sync software from helio and that seems to work great too. I was able to sync all my contacts and Calender even notes from my outlook.

Cons:
The only improvement i could see would be the obvious one of adding Bluetooth, and I'm still trying to figure out how to add my POP3 email acct to the phone so i can check my email on the go.. that could be a bit easier. Its a bit large compared to other slider phones, i had a samsung slider phone that was much slimmer and lighter but the hero does have more functions than that samsung did so I'm happy.
