Cost Too Much/Useless?

Oct 8, 2005 by nickdeng

I have i90, i95, i205, i830 and i860. Now I have i930...

I play a lot with my phones, phone book, ringtones, wallpapers, games, vidoes... the best one that I think for yout to play with is the i860... if you are a i860 owner... with i860 you REALLY CAN do a lot...and I still like to use my i205 sometime...

Today called nextel and activated my i930 and started to play with it. (I was the second user who called and activate the new i930, told by the service rep.)

Here is what I found out so far.
You can't browse you own picture use as wallpaper, Can't load your own ringtone (I guess you must buy it/download)

Pros.
Great compact size compare to a larger smartphone loaded with WM.

Cons.
It's good use as a phone but Useless as (Window Mobile) when needed for business... Why? use it, then you will realize why I said it's useless.

Volume contral keys are too small.

Anyhow, Reply if you don't agree...

Love the phone. Glad it finally came out. Has everything I want, except bluetooth. I have seen in other ohter reviews that I can get a SDIO card to make it bluetooth but everyone around here has no idea what I am talking about. Does anyone know where I can get one. Please help.

I have waited over two years for this phone to come, and I have to say, it was worth the wait. I have other pda phones from other carriers, and nothing comes close to what this phone is. It is a handy smartphone device, loaded with windows programs. All in a user friendly size that isnt to big or clunky to carry around.

There are a few minor bugs that hopefully can be worked out with a software upgrade from Microsoft or Nextel.

PROS:
Dual Color Screens
Camera
Auto-Open Hinge
Microsoft Smartphone OS
Good signal compared to other Nextel's
Good battery life

CONS:
No Bluetooth (not a big deal though)
