Third time's a charm???

Jan 4, 2008 by phonescooper2

Thank goodness I have Cingular, otherwise, I'd be S.O.L.

Pros:

Cool looking phone.
good size
like the new blue color

Cons:

I'm on my third V3 in less than 6 months.
Battery Life sucks (if you keep bluetooth on)
software issues caused email accounts to erase
warranty replacement was refurbished, so they ended up just sending me another new one (only because they were afraid I'd leave)

Overall, I like the phone, however, I am not optomistic that it will make it until my next free upgrade.

GOOD PHONE

Sep 13, 2007 by sagger_

I have had this phone for 18 months. It is a great phone. Not even 1 dropped call. It works in Chicago Ill,Pittsburgh Pa. and Moberly Mo. without flaws.
Pros.
Always a good dropped calls.great battery life.

cons.
Terrible screen,in daylight hard if not imposable to see. After 18 months I am getting indentations on the screen from the key pad.Volume is bad for hearing.Works great with earbud, without earbud hard to hear.

Overall A great phone, had it for 18 months, just might keep it another 18 months if I don't get a good deal on a new phone . I don't car about pictures or Media,(tv or video). All I want is a phone that works and has signal when I need it and this does the trick.

THE BEST PHONE YET!

Mar 15, 2007 by THE BEST YETT

I think the Motorola Razr is the best phone that any phone company has ever made. i love it. i honestly do not know why everyone hates this phone! there is nothing to hate! today, i went to the Centennial place, and i said "sir, can i look at the razr please?" and the man looked at me like i was stupid because he said that he had had a lot of problems with razrs. people were going up to him saying that they stink. well believe me. NONE OF THAT IS TRUE! razrs are THE BESTT! it is an extra thin phone, the buttons are awesome and work well, the sound is loud and clear, the conection is the best of about any other phone ive had, if you drop it nothing really happens, the pictures are clear, people say they freeze up but mine doesnt, and they are so sleek! i think everyone should own this awesome phone. im thinking about getting my whole family one! haha whatever. THE PHONE ROCKS! AND IT IS COOL! AND SKINNY! THANK YOU MOTOROLAAAAA! I LOVE IT!

Horrible

To put it honestly, last year (May 2006) I was finished with Nextel and carrying those big, bulky phones. I was excited to make the switch to Cingular and have this new, sleek, thin phone called the RAZR. After only one month I began to have some significant problems and contacted the warranty department for Cingular. They immediately sent me a new phone with pre-paid postage to return the old phone. It wasn't long after that the problems returned. 1) The first of the problems is the earpiece. It's difficult to hear the other person you're speaking with. 2)The phone could be possessed, (sp?) I would be in the middle of a call and the thing would POWER OFF! Yes, that's right, not just drop the call, it would power off! Everytime I tried to download a ringtone or wallpaper, it would power off again. 3) And the third is randomly when I would make a call, the ring, the voices (mine and theirs) and the button tones would all be seriously distorted. So much as to have to end the call and try again. With that said, I am just disgusted with the Motorola Razr and never plan to use this phone again. Cingular has been very helpful in that they are sending me the new SAMSUNG SYNC at a very reasonable price. Let's hope I have better luck with this one. I would advise anyone considering the razr to re-consider. It's not worth the trouble and aggravation.

PROS: ummm... It's small, lightweight, and sleek. A good looking phone.

CONS: See above review. Too many to list....

RAZR IS AN "OK" PHONE

Dec 30, 2006 by laprincess7

Hey! This phone is mostly known for its cool, trendy style. The fact that its super thin-- everyone wants 2 get it. 2 tell you the truth, its good yet bad. The guys hate the buttons on it. They say its waay 2 hard to dial. The girls - they dont have much a problem with it. Any ages is good for this phone but i prefer the teens and twentys. The camera works good! so like i said.. its and OK phone

I have had this phone for 6 months now and I love it! The only thing I do not like is the speaker Volume is not very loud, otherwise it is a cool phone.

EVERYONE HATES IT BUT I LOVED IT

I have a Motorola SLVR L7. My aunt has this phone and we swapped our SIM cards for a few days and tried each others phones out.

Personally, I don't know why everyone hates the RAZR. I loved it. I think it was one of the best phones ever made. It has everything my SLVR has except an MP3 player.

PROS:

-- Nice to look at.
-- Nice Moto UI.
-- Bluetooth capable.
-- Speakerphone.
-- Beautiful internal display.
-- Alarm Clock
-- Camera (It is just a phone so don't expect digital quality camera here).

There is so much more but I cannot think of any.

CONS:

-- When I would talk on it, there was a little buzzing noise in the background but if I moved from that spot, everything would be fine again.
Can't think of anymore because this is a great phone!

Other than the buzzing noise, this phone was absolutely flawless. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone. But, if the V3i is coming out late this month, than wait.

My overall thoughts

May 8, 2006 by Nate5123

These phones keep breaking. I am on my 4th Razr. The first one broke by a default software issue. The second one had problems with the buttons and the third had a broken Microphone.

Pros:

Good Interface
Small Form Factor
Stylis

Cons:

Hard to hear the other person
Not a very good camera (still useable but not very clear picture)
The ringtone can be controled on the side which can make noise and be embarassing if you sit on the button accidently

Overall I would rate this phone very good. It is stylish and easy to carry, it is very good for preforming basic needs.

RAZR IS THE BEST

Apr 25, 2006 by maya32291

Okay, I got this phone recently and I only have a few complaints. One, my phone froze by itself twice and I have no idea why. Secondly, some dust gets into your keys, but is nto a real huge issue. Also, when I listen to my voicemail on speakerphone, it is just plain horrible: the message goes in slow motion and is very scratchy. Batter life is very bad, but if you dno't mind hooking it up all the time, then you wouldn't have a problem. Keys are a little slow and it may get a little annoying.

PROS:

Beautiful design
Very clear calls
Not one dropped call
Thin and easy to fit in my pocket
Extrenely loud ringtones
Bluetooth

CONS:

A little slow
Battery life is bad
Fragile
No games

All in all, I highly reccomend this phone, because it works great and is very elegant and flashy!

YUCK....

The phone itself is of great quality, sharp looking but not functional because it's impossible to hear the other person on the other end even when the volume is all the way turned up. I have had two.

I also have the Samsung Blade and the Blade really really is nice...it's just so unfortunate that it's with Sprint.

I am not going to list the pros and cons of this phone as everyone else already has.

I would give this phone a rating of 4 if I could hear on it. Unfortunately, I can't hear the other pserson at all very well.

I also had a buddy make a few calls on it and his number one complaint was, "it's next to impossible to hear the other person."
