A Good Phone

Sep 13, 2005 by Prelusion

Look, I have had this phone for a while and while I do have my complaints about it, it is an overall very well put together phone. Some of the things I like include: the thin-ness of it for the fact that it is uncomfortable to have bulging side pockets, the internet feature is fairly quick, my reception with T-mobile is outstanding, and I love the quality of the downloadable ringtones. Now for the things that I dont like: the fact that I am a neat freak and this phone gets dirty quick and some things are a pain to clean, like the keypad; the earpiece could have some imporved volume but the speaker is not an acceptable substitute although it works good, and one of the biggest things I hate is the fact that you cannot change the flippin banner!!! would anyone like customization? not found here unless you have cingular with a black phone and you cough up $20 to have your name engraved on the back. Big baller now! So, if you like to look rich and you got some money to toss around, get one just for the fact that it fits nicely and covertly in a pocket. Its nice for now, but it will soon be obsolete in the near future.

V3

Altogether an eye catcher. Natty little belt case too. Good reception and quality, BUT, this is my second phone in 10 days. Good fun to use. Bluetooth is good but if its on remember to charge up frequently. You will need a car charger. Camera: OK. Diary: I don’t know as I haven’t bothered with it. Contacts: Not good and I gave up trying to import the right ones from Outlook. –Any help would be appreciated!

The fist phone arrived and the display was poor. Then after a day it would switch off and then eventually wouldn’t switch on. I called my supplier and was sent a new one, no questions asked. Good service. Even better as they didn’t want the old one back so now I have two batteries, two ear pieces and two cases! (and a dead phone..)

The box it comes in is out of this world too…

Sweet Phone

Great phone. Plays well with others. Highly suggest adopting this one. The bluetooth works really well with Jabra headset as well as good sync with Mac's. The only downfall is the fact that it has no expandable memory card. Yet, that's a small drawback, because the phones 5mb is plenty for almost all users. Has great features, as well as the ability to customize all the function keys, including the side buttons to be used how you like. I love the fact that its so THIN, especially in the car, as it fits nice under the visor and won't slide around. One other thing to note: QUAD BAND!

I LOVE MY BLACK RAZOR PHONE

Sep 14, 2005 by amandaytony1983

I have had this phone for about two months now and so far I love my phone! And I am with CINGULAR and in my AREA the service is fine. Of course I have some dropped calls as with all other carriers that i have tried. The phone is small enough to fit in my back pocket. And I personally could care less about the fingerprints, the keys very unusual looking. this is the best phone i have had so far out of about 15 phones, that i have had in the past. the camera feature is the best i have seen so far. but there are two things that i would like them to fix especially for all the money i paid it needs a video camera, and a better phone book. but other than that I LOVE the phone. I have not had any problems with it so far, even after I dropped it on a tile floor in the bathroom at work. It still functions just fine like the day i bought it.

needs a lot of work on it but for now its okay for the simple phone users. It is running the new software called v3 o6. low resolution screen, and if you are a phone geek like me don't make the mistake that i did but if you are into fashion this a okay phone.

I wish I could sue

I owned a Slvr which the ringer quit working. So I bought a razr v3 less than a month ago. The screen is doing the same as everyone else reported. I've been in the same contract for years because it's shared and a good deal. Therefor I get my phones new on ebay. $200 down the drain between two motorola products and no one will fix them for less than $75. I wish I could use that money to go after motorola for my money back.

Features mean nothing if the screen doesn't work, so there's nothing to say about that.

Poor Phone

After using this phone I found myself pulling my hair. the battery life is outrageous, not in a good way. I had to deal with about five of these things before I decided to head for the iPhone. Overall, good design and looks, bad software.

Thanks Motorola for revolutionizing the way we think about bad phones!!!

Didn't work right out of the box

Bought it. Installed my SIM card and battery per instructions. Plugged it in. Got an "Invalid Battery" error. Tried removing the battery, SIM card, etc. several times as suggested by many sources online to no avail. Returned the phone.

All the parts were original Motorola parts with the logos, and the phone was literally BRAND NEW. Searching online reveals that I am far from the first to have this problem - although it appears to normally develop later in the phone's life.

Pros - it's very pretty
Cons - it doesn't work
