Not a happy camper!
Did not like this phone.
Pros:
1. Swivel camera was cool.
2. Some of the ring tones were unusual enough that I always knew it was me ringing.
Cons:
1. Could not photo id my contacts
2. Text was always in the mode where the phone guesses what I want to type next...never was what I wanted.
3. Phone often lost phone numbers from address book. Imagine my surprise when I tried to call my grandmother on her birthday and her phone number was gone!
A lot of people seem to be happy with this phone, but I wasn't. Now I've bought an LG L1400 and I'm loving it!
I Dig It!
At First I thought, YEAH! I must own this phone! so when my super small samsung S307 met an unfortunate demise in a cooler full of water, I exchanged it's corpse for insurance policy to use against this phone. I liked it at first but then I found out...
Pros:
1. rotating Camera
2. 2 displays
3. Great Sound
4. Loud Ring
5. Reversing the camera lets me trick people into "looking at the screen" on my side of the phone, to snap an unsuspecting horrible pic of them and laugh for minutes. =)
Cons:
1. Pre-installed Ring Tones SUCK!!
2. Cannot Silence sound effect when taking pictures...No Sneeky pic capturing!
3. Pre-installed games are HORRIBLE the s307 had bowling and I miss that dearly.
Pretty Decent Phone.
This is acutually a pretty overall decent phone. But the thing IO didn't like is the stupid caller groups. Also, it doesn't list the ringtones in alphabetical order.
LOVE THIS PHONE
I got this phone several months back and wanted to really give it a chance to prove its self. I love this phone and all I can say is its about time someone makes a decent phone. Thank you Samsung. I don't have any cons about this phone but that is only because I am fully satisfied with it!
Awesome Phone
I have had my phone for less than 24 hours, but this phone is great. Nice reception, and convenient delieverable text messeages. I got my phone for $100, but after all the rebates turned out to be free. Its such a sleek nice looking phone that will tend to attract all the ladies in the room, joking, but its nice. Very user friendly, didn't have to really read the manual to find my way around the menu to set it up. If you do decide to get this phone, i don't know if this only happened with me, but most of my friends numbers were deleted during that which.
Awesome phone
Just got the samsung sgh-p107 today. And it is great. love the features on the phone.the only con that I have is that it does not have speakerphone, but with a phone like this one I believe I can do without it.

there is 1 con that i absoultley HATE about the samsung its that it can only hold 100 pictures not memory problem but thats a limit, that sucks!!!!! but every thing else is good especially how u can flip over a picture with the sound button while taking a picture
Seriously Flawed
This by far is the worse phone I have ever purchased by Samsung.
Pros -
-Nice screen resolution.
-Swivel camera mechanism might be cool for some.
-Ringers are somewhat loud.
-Simple menu system if that's what you're looking for.
-Calendar, Alarm clock, Calculator.
-Decent battery life. Lasted two days with moderate web browsing and an hour of calls.
Cons -
-Cheaply made, very weak plastic and creaky.
-Buttons don't always depress all the way so you constantly have to make corrections to text.
-Camera is horrible, QVGA I think? Small and incredibly grainy quality for a new phone. I would compare the picture quality to the Sanyo 8100, but it's actually a bit worse.
-Side volume buttons adjust keypad volume instead of ringer volume, completely useless.
-Cheap antenna that will surely break with one direct hit.
-Same old boring Samsung Web Browser with very limited options.
-I never got the Infrared to work properly.
-Is automatically set to ALL CAPS when entering text for phone book and you can't adjust the setting permanently, you have to re adjust it with each new entry.
-Center button only connects you to the WEB and does not double as an OK button on anything other than web pages.
-No turning off camera sound, even with phone in silent mode. It's incredibly loud and very annoying.
-Horrible selection of ringtones.
-Voice calls sound muffled and those on the other end said i sounded the same. Tried a Nokia 6230 and MotoV600 from same exact location with no muffled sound at all.
-When using an earpiece menu and keypad sounds are deafening even with volume all the way down.
This phone is a serious step back in time for Samsung, it has the same standard ringers of phones from almost a year ago, and the same problems as well. I would only recommend this phone for someone who just wants a simple flip phone with flashy lights and not much else. Very simple and very cheap. Of my last 15 phones this one takes the cake as the worst one.
samsung has it all
this phone is an excellent addition to the line of samsungs. this phone has most of the bells and whistles that we have come to expect in phones and it is still very easy to navigate.
