The best thing about this phone is the speaker phone and the very large screen. I am looking forward to the sanyo 4900. It looks great.
Do not buy this phone
This phone gave me so much trouble that I bought another after only 2 months of use. The first of many complaints is that the battery meter has only 3 bars making it hard to tell when the phone will die if on the last bar. Second, graphics and games are below average and disappointing for this $150.00 phone. Last and most important, the phone will power off for no apparent reason at different times, leaving you with a voice mail box full and lots of mad clients. I'm sure this was probably just my 4700 but its enough for me to never buy another Sanyo phone again. Ohh, yeah, I had to super-glue my battery on be cause the badly designed battery clamps broke off long ago. If you have this phone, don't drop it, shake it, carry it in your pocket, talk on it, extend antenna, look at it wrong, or breath around it and it will last a life time.
