Ericsson T68

Wow - This Phone Is Incredible.
First of all, it really surprises me when people write a negative review on a phone based on reception. It is the service, not the equipment.
I recently had the Samsung SPH-A400 on Sprint. It was a great phone. I could get excellent reception everywhere, except my home.
My contract was up so I decided to give VoiceStream a try because of the 72 Hour trial period. I decided on the T68, but thought because of the internal antenna it would have worse reception than the Samsung. WRONG! I get great reception - it's the service, not the equipment.
This phone is so full of amazing features that overshadown the color - which is pretty impressive. It's tiny, cute, great quality, and just fun. I love that you can change the size of the font. The calander is great. Everything.
I love this phone. I'm a cellphone junky. I the last two years I had:
Nokia 5190 (good start)
Nokia 8290 (good phone)
Ericsson T28 (great little number)
Motorola StarTac (sucked)
Samsung SPH-8500 (great phone)
Samsung SPH-A400 (awesome phone)
Ericsson T68 (the best)
The T68 is the best phone of the bunch.
Great Phone
This phone has everything you can think of
And it works great with Voicestream in NEW YORK area
People who are blaming phones for service get real If your carrier does not provide great coverage IT WONT WORK ON ANY PHONE
People who are using it on ATT network it will suck until ATT will end their upgrade
THE BEST PHONE EVER
good phone
don't blame the reception on the phone..if you are using att the network is still VERY new...released in mid august...the GSM network wont even be close to done in california, and some other markets for at least the next 6 months...so keep the phone and switch back to a tdma or cdma service until then..but don't give up on the phone or gsm
Great Phone!
This is really a fantastic phone, especially if you want to hook it up to a PDA or a Laptop. I've gotten it to connect to my Sony Clie and an Apple Powerbook laptop through IR. Also, it gets great reception with T-Mobile, at least where i live (Philadelphia area), and the battery life is pretty good too. This or the T68i are probably the best compact GSM phones out there.
