You can do anything from taking pictures to iming people, to setting up contacts. Everything you do is then sent to your web page for tmobile. This communication device is simply amazing.
Quality is severely lacking.
When I first got the Sidekick, I was utterly amazed with how much it could do and how cool it was...but it only took 2 weeks for me to realize how cheaply made this device is. First of all, the sound continually crackles and pops. I believe the audio pops stem from a defect in the OS (The first Compaq Ipaq had a very similar problem), but the buzzing comes from the device's own signal interfering with the speakers. I dealt with that problem by just muting the device. I didn't care too much about sound anyway...however, the paint on the device is EXTREMELY cheap.
My first billing cycle isn't even over yet and there are large, very obvious patches where paint has simply come off. Keep in mind that this is from NORMAL, EVERY DAY use. The harshest thing I do to my sidekick is remove it from its case...which, incidentally, brings me to my next complaint...the carrying case. The carrying case is the cheapest piece of junk I have ever had the misfortune of owning. The simple act of removing the Sidekick from the case leave black, tarry glue from the seams of the case all over the sides of the device.
I don't know if additional problems will manifest, as I've had the device for little under a month, but I would stay far, far away from this product if quality matters to you.

Pros are lots of things to do such as e-mail and web browser.cons battery life stinks maybe 3 days of continuous use

I have had my sidekick for about a month now and am loving it. The functionality, style and wow effect are great. Everywhere I go everyone is asking questions and admiring what all it can do. Although there are a few things that can be either added changed or just reconfigured but that is for every phone and piece of technology out there. Depending on who you are and what you do with this phone is either going to be perfect or a pain in the butt.
I love it am looking forward to learning more of it's functionality.
Not a good phone
I do not recommend this phone to anyone needing it for calling. The speaker is horrible. Calls are dropped left and right. Using it for web browsing isn't good either. The wireless connection is being dropped every 2 mins. I thought it was my phone when all this happened to me so I got a replacement and it was barely better. The signal was still horrible calls weren't dropped quite as often but I'd say 3 out of every 5 calls were dropped. I do not think highly of this phone. Stay away from it!
