LG Encore
My experience with the Encore
I was going in thinking, "Great, another LG mistake." But, I was proven wrong. In my honest opinion this phone is great for what it is. 3G was blazing fast, the touch was very responsive, and it seemed to do exactly what I wanted it to. My experience is limited on this phone, so in the long run I can't say what it will do. LG has a tendency to either make crap or gold. The Viewty was Gold, the VU and VU Plus were crap.
So, to recap.
Pros
Fast 3G, great call quality, responsive touch (though resistive vs capacitive) and one thing I didn't mention was that the texting is VERY accurate. I hate resistive touch text on every phone ... minus this one. The virtual qwerty was so accurate. Good job, LG!
cons
The name Encore ... nobody wants an Encore of crap ... should have named the phone The LG SorryBoutThat.
