The LCD of the 7510 is high quality and the battery life is averge. However the problem with this model is that the outter front LCD is not very durable. Also, the back battery cover and the front face plate are very difficult to remove. The display on the outter front LCD is also difficult to see. Novel concept phone, however needs work in terms of practicality. On a seperate issue, expect the phone to have similar issues like that of the 6133, the 7510 employs a similar spring hinge design.

the Not-so- Supernova

So I've been a faithful Nokia owner since the days of Pac Bell...thats just over 10 years for you historians out there. So this 7510 is my latest Nokia phone.

PROs, the look is awesome. I dig the weight and the metal used on the phone. I like how its heavy...makes it feel like a
"real" phone is in my hands, and not a dinky light plastic thing that I might be questioning if it made it into my pocket. It beautiful when you open it up. Its shiny. But that might be bad too, because more shiny means easier to see scratches.

CONS: There is a delay. Delay when you flip open the phone, delay when you push a button...any button. I don't like the new menu system. I like the old one, like the one on the 5310, 6300 or the 6301. This was a super modern-hip-cool look. This was a super big step down. If you're an old Nokia owner like me, you'll miss the little things like when you're setting your profiles, you won't be able to preview the sounds by simply highlighting the selection. Now you have to know what they sound like by name only. You also might not like seeing the options one line at a time, instead of seeing it in a full menu. I also liked how you could see how many messages were in your in-box right by the in-box selection. You can't with this phone. And also, don't let the push button feature sell you. You may not want to use it for two reasons; 1, because the button is totally flush with the phone which makes it difficult to push with one hand, and 2, the recoil on the flip is pretty strong for one hand too. The camera is a 2mp, but the pics are totally grainy. Icons are more 2 dimensional than 3D, which makes the design look more rudimentary.

7510 My opinion-Good Choice

This phone is perfect for my needs, however I do know everyone is different. I hope my review helps you to know if this phone is right for you.
It is extremely heavy duty, the hinge and most the phone is made of metal and yes this does add to the weight of the phone. It also adds to the durability. My father bought his for that purpose and I liked it so much that I purchased the 7510 as well. We have had no problems with function even after a couple of falls. The interchangeable covers are not only fun, but also good for protecting the already stable phone.
I found the phone extremely user friendly when I plugged it into the computer, and the pictures It takes look great on screen as well.
I am thankful for the side button that opens the phone. I am always driving or working, and being able to open it with one hand is very helpful and convenient. I also appreciate that the phone seems to almost lock closed, I can wear it on my hip and when I brush something the phone does not pop open.
I got tired of using the Blackberries and phones that did as much as my computer. I wanted a phone that was more basic, but still had some Internet capabilities, and this is perfect solution for me.
It is small and slips into my pocket, It looks sleek, and simple, but performs as well as the phones that look so complicated, that you cannot even turn them on.
They are not for everyone, but what phone is?
I hope this helps and Happy Shopping!

Good Phone innacurate review here

Hello phone scoop review of this phone is way off. Makes one wonder how they really tested the phone and how fast. The camera actually takes excellent photos. The way they look after you first snap them is not how they turn out turn the preview mode off. Then look After there saved. They take abt 3 seconds after you look at the image in your saved pics youll see it turn from grainer to crystal clear. And the camera flash works great on nokias. Sound quality is excellent there is a voice clarity mode as well to boost sound even more. I dont even have the volume all the way up with noise and its loud. The covers are tricky to get on but once you get the hang of it. Its not that bad. Back snaps down and then goes back on from the bottom up. The front one is a little trickier you have to grip it from underneath. overall good midrange phone. Could do without the push button but its easy to get used to. or just open the phone manually. interface could be a little quicker but again overall good phone. Hope this helps others considering Smile

Solid Build Nokia Flip

I gave this phone a 4star. I had it for a little over a week and the phone did everything flawlessly.

The radio worked great and the sound quality was on point. Ringtones and the Music I put on it sounded amazingly clear.

The metal hendges and the flip actually felt good in my hand. Felt like a real phone and not something that I might break If I sat on it. The button to flip the phone open was very flush with the phone so its true that it wasnt comfortable at 1st. I say by the 3rd day my fingers had learned the easy way to push the button and it was no longer a problem (still not very well placed though, but they made it flush with the intentions of getting it out the way - it is).

The LCD screen in the front is the phones best feature. I see in the previous reviews that they had a problem seeing the caller? Well, I must say that I think this was the part of the phone that was done up the best. Not only does it look as if theres no caller ID but when someone calls the effects before and after your presented with the caller ID is fresh, new and just looks amazing. Youll see your front display go from a solid color to transparent and the name of the caller will apear. Its great and works clearly everytime. I gave this phone to my mother after I got the 8900 and she loves it. She has NO problem seeing the letters and numbers on the front and shows off the feature when someone calls. This LCD in the front is the phones main selling point and it works, works good and looks great.

The camera was your average camera and overall, the phone performed as a normal Nokia flip phone should. I have no complaints. It is true about the Changing of covers (its hard and annoyingly fustrating).

Battery was rather good too. I played the radio for about 10hrs before I went into the red. All in all, Solid Build of a Nokia Flip.
