Awesome phone - Voice quality awesome!
I dont know what they were saying, saying voice quality sucks. It is pretty damn good and i'm in 3G area. Signal strength is good where I am also. Phone is awesome and has great features and downloads are speedy fast on 3G network. Great great slider phone. Prob the best slider on T-Mobile and one of best phones i've had on T-Mobile and i've had Nokia 5310, sidekick 08, nokia 6263, katalyst and more. Great great phone pick it up you wont be sorry.
Okay phone- poor sound and bettery
I just extended 2 years contract & get a new phone. I love Sam-sung phone. I used to have T-629..that's GREAT Phone! Now I would like to "up-grade" my phone after 2 year so I chose lastest version T819 BUT I am so disappointed with the sound quality. Speaker phone is not good/loud enough and the Rings tone so BAD. Also, battery problem. Just talking 5 minutes the battery is too HOT! Finally, I prefer my old Sam-sung phone T629!
Sound clarity needs improvement
I had this phone for 4 days. I couldnt take the muffled voices of all calls. It was all calls, not just some. I loved the appearence, color, (brown is my favorite), all options, everything was perfect EXCEPT the clarity on all calls were terrible.
Okay phone
I have had my Samsung T819 for about 3 months now and my cousin bought the same phone when I did. BOTH OF US have had the same problem. 9 out of 10 calls are muffled. I cant understand half of what people are saying to me and its not that I have my volume incorrectly. I drop calls all the time... I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone!
not impressed at all
This phone was phenomenal from the start. Nice slide form factor, and 30 MB built in memory. Phone has a memory card slot which enables more downloads and such without pay (he he he he). I accidentally sat on my phone and severely damaged the screen! Still waiting for Samsung to make a more durable handset, I mean I only weigh about 102 pounds!!!! Phones have got to be more durable than that! My screen looks like a spider is laying on it, which scared the be-jesus out of me when i seen it, may be user error but i cant believe how easily it was damaged.
