nice phone!!!

Sep 16, 2003 by friskokid

I work for AT&T wireless! I live in Canada where we run off Rogers!
I have had this phone for 7 months now!
Id recommend this fon to anyone who doesn't want fancy feature or flashy looks! Its a good reliable fon with great reception! and its decently priced! the only downfall i found was the menu was a little bit hard to get used to!

Awsome

I really like this phone. It has great reception, a blue screen and an awsome web brouser. It has changeable face plates and down loadable screen savers. I wish the battery lasted longer. I do charge It every 1 1/2 days. The menu keys seem strange but you get used to it. I'ts A great deal for the price.

Great reception, poor battery life

I own a cell phone store in Chicago and I've tested most of the T-Mobile phones. This phone by far has the best reception of all the low end phones. Menus are confusing at first, but you get used to it.

So far these are the phones I would recommend in order of reception quality:

S-105
T300
Q-105
M46
V66

Big minus for me is the battery life. I feel like I'm using my old Analogue Startec. Only lasts about 1 day of use.

I'd recommend this phone for the reception provided you buy a car charger with the phone.

Nice, reliable little fella

I was interested in buying a Siemens, and my friend had this one, so we swapped phones, for a test drive of some sort. I liked this phone so much I almost didn't wanted to give it back... So, now the pros and cons:

PROS:
-Works on the PCS band, so the sound is clear.
-The BLUE BACKLIGHT! I can't stand the sight of a green backlight anymore.
-Changeable faceplates (viva eBay)
-Pretty small (my Nok 3595 looks and feels like a brick next to this one)

CONS (minor ones)
-Monoband (reception isn't always great)
-Monophonic ringtones
-battery life could be better

Overall, this phone is a good price/quality ratio. I would definitively recommend it.

battery and screen

I like this phone but there are some problems. The second week i had it the screen went out so i got a new one and it hasn't even been a year and its gone again it will turn on but you cant see the menu or anything. The battery is worthless it doesn't last me three hours when I'm using it i have to stay near a charger. I'm now getting a new phone cause this is just too much trouble. Other then the battery and the screen i loved the phone the menu was different at first but i quickly got the hang of it and liked it ever since. I like the size of it but those two problems just make it a worthless phone. If they made it a litte more durable and longer lasting battery i would keep this phone.

Thumbs Down

I didn't like this phone at all. The numbers are too small. The menu is difficult to use and the features are not that great. Any low end phone is better than the siemens. I would go with a Nokia3390 or a Motorolla C332.
