my first nextel phone
it is a great phone for those that absolutely hate flip phones. i've had it for a month now and it reminds me of my very first nokia phone but without the antenna.
i'm using a plantronics 665 voyager bluetooth headset and was surprised that the PTT worked fine with it.
pros - small, light, easy, basic
cons - no camera, hard to remove battery door, not compatible with other nextel chargers.
not worth it
the fone is ok but the service from boost sucks. i almost never get to talk on it i have the monthly unlimited plan with boost and everyday since i bought the fone (i bought it sep 1) every time i want to use it i get a msg on the screen that reads "system busy try later 26" and its not the fone, its the service because i have 2 other boost fones i455 & i855 and they were all doing the same thing. i called boost cust care and they told me that there was "too much traffic" in the antennas and that my fones use the Nextel antennas and that there was alot of calls being made at the same time. the fone is ok but the service is terrible.
Good Phone but Warning
I am a rep for a cell company and i would say go to this phone as it is a durable and sleek iden phone. But a warning to those who are looking at getting it wait. My company has stopped shipping them and i570 due to software issues. So wait a bit then call your local retailer before buying
