kokopelle's review of the HTC Desire 626 (GSM)

original version, submitted Feb 12, 2016, 12:06 PM:

Good medium level phone

Got this phone for free from ATT as a replacement for my aging Sony Ericson G2 phone because ATT is shuttering G2 service around Feb 29, 2016 in my area. As a first time Android user I found it easy enough to use and generally Ok, but comes loaded with many unwanted (to me) and uninstallable apps from ATT and HTC. These can be silenced using the APP disable option. The speaker sound level is acceptable, but could be louder. The Att version has 16GB of memory with expansion up to 200GB according to the HTC website. The ATT version is 4G. http://www.htc.com/us/smartphones/htc-desire-626/
