Extended life Battery?

Deathpickle

I was wondering if anyone has an extended life battery. It looks big compared to the normal one, and I was wondering if the size is worth the life it gives.

I'm used to my old SLVR where I could listen to music, talk all day, and not charge my battery for 2 days. Now it seems like I'm killing my battery every day.

So should I just get a car charger and have to keep charging it all the time, or just get the new battery?

Thanks,

The extended life battery is big and heavy, and holds 1400 milliamphours instead of the 800 with the regular battery. The thing to do (which I did, and it works) is to buy a new regular battery and charge it fully before using it. They killed the battery you got with your phone by using it to activate your phone when you bought it.

Someone on another post said to change the network and turn off the 1X if you're not going to use VCast to extend the battery life. I have no clue how to do this.

Help anyone?

I already did that, It helps, I think. But I'm still like 60mins of talk time shy of what i would like.

I use an extended life battery on my 8600. It does add some size to the phone but I am only charging it once every 6 or 7 days as opposed to every 1 to 1 1/2 days. To me the gained size/weight is worth the convenience of not having to charge my phone as often.

I have the extended battery, and it made a huge difference for me. It of course is bigger, but if you are using a leather case you hardly notice it. For a extended battery, it is not all that much bigger, unlike others in past. And to top it off, last I checked, verizon had the extended batteries on sale, 50% off, I paid $25 for mine.
