This phone is typical Pantech garbage, I have one sitting right next to me while I type. I cant imagine why Nokia would want to be associated with Pantech. Nokia, which has a pretty good rep when it comes to phones, is going to loose it when people buy these phones thinking they are buying a Nokia and get a Pantech/Audiovox/Kyocera quality phone instead.

It's because Nokia hates us and wants to make the GSM people happy, and stick us with Pantech. 😡

I have had the phone for a week so far the only problems I see for me is you can't use the speakerphone with the phone closed, and the videos are only 15 seconds long, other than that I am happy calls are clear on both ends and the phone is very light.

Nokia has never made a CDMA phone that would work.
I admit that I LOVED their 1990 style bar phone designs they were selling at verizon until last year. They make great door stops 🤣

Nokia should just jump ship from the CDMA wagon all together

the cdma nokias got great rf? they were ugly little entry level phones like the 2285 2125 but the got great service. Check out the 6265 cdma phone, that is a true nokia with a kickass chipset, these pantech things are not nokias, no nokia menu, no nokia chipset, no nokia data ports, no nokia fm player, these are simply crappy pantechs with nokia decal.

Let's see if I have it right.
You're comparing the 6215i - list price $70, (rather than the 6315i - a $130 list phone & the subject here) with the Samsung a990 - a $400 list phone. Then you're concluding that the a990 has more features? I suppose that it's good you get something for that $270.

Lol, wide range in price huh? Plus, Phonesccop's specs on batteries always differ from verizon's page.

Don't know what people's issue with pantech is. I have yet to have a single pantech phone returned. Also, had a customer come in last week and she lives in a fringe area. She took a VX8300 out to her house and could not get signal in her house. She gets it up to her front door. (not knocking the 8300 because it is what I carry and I love it). She took a Razr...same thing. She took aV325 and it would get one bar in her house but wouldn't hold the call. She took an a870 samsung and a930 samsung and couldn't get signal on her porch with either. Last of all the Nokia 6315. She took that to her house and could get two bars of signal and hold a call completely without dropping.

Now, I wish they would have the voice command technology...
