sorting music

Is there a way to sort music on my Chocolate other than A-Z or Z-A (without making playlists)? I'd like to hear my music in the order they are on the album. I've tried prepending the filenames with 01, 02, etc but it doesn't seem to help. any ideas?

It appears that if you use the VCAST player then it does sort them properly. I guess I can do that from now on.
