That's really dumb. Oh well, I like my dark gray one a lot better, and it's already paid for, but that still pisses me off that they would drop the price a week after it comes out... grr...

it is coming out in Silver and Pink in addition to "Gray".....the site is weird because it is showing the silver pic but calling it In Gray. I've seen in our inventory report the silver and pink, and also in the rebate processes at work for the rebates expiring 6/19 that silver and pink both have $50 rebates. i expect all 3 colors to be available by that date and intend to exchange mine for silver with worry free as i'll still be within 15 days.

Oh, that's wonderful. I just ordered a V3m from VZW late yesterday afternoon under the NE2 program at the $199 price. Cost me a net $50. Today, I could get it for free. 😡

Do you think I could get a credit or refund for my $50??....or should I return/exchange it when it arrives?

p.s. VZW said that since I purchased it so late in the day yesterday, they wouldn't be able to ship it out until today

will the silver and pink be available at the $69.99 price soon? surely the $50 rebate ending 6/19 is not on the new $69.99 price! it would be great if it was! 😉

But the big question will this pink one look like the V3c with the silver inside or be black like the nickel V3m to differentiate it a little from the V3c?

You guys shouldn't be surprised by the price drop. They always introduce their phones expensive, but once a holiday comes around, it drops to nearly nothing! I wanted to get the new razr as an upgrade for 2 family lines, but knew to wait for fathers day... thing is even at 70 bucks, its still not a great price.. dunno if I wanna have to pay for it. 🤣

And about already ordering the phone, when you get it, just call customer service and they will usually be more then happy to give you the credit. Happened to me before... upgraded 1 line to the razr around christmas, and 14 days later (just luck I guess), they were giving the phone as buy 1 get 1 free... I called them and they gladly sent me another 1 for another line upgrade, for free...

you're right. VZW said just call customer service when I get the phone and they will be happy to give me the credit. VZW gets blasted a lot in these forums, but I must compliment them on that customer service policy.

Their customer service is NOT always good...I bought a new V3M 2 days ago and it is to be delivered this afternoon. I called customer service and was told that I had to return the phone to Verizon and then buy a new phone to get the discounted price. They are not acting like they really care about my 2-year renewal for both mine and my wife's phone. When I pointed out to them that it would be cheaper to just give me a $50 credit than to mess with sending the phone back, they said there was nothing they could do.

I am seriously thinking of going elsewhere, someplace where the phones are not crippled and the customer service is better...

good luck with that. i work for cingular and even though i have two lines with cingular unlimited everything for both. i choose to still pay for my verizon account. verizon has crippled phones, but that can be fixed if you do your homework. also verizon by far has the best customer service and network. every rep you talk to is going to be a little different. and to be honest cancelling service over something like them not crediting you is rediculous.

I would not cancel my service only over that...what I realize is that I am now a free agent and I should look at all the alternatives before locking down for another 2 years. I will, as I said, consider going elsewhere if I pe...

you should be able to get credit. i give this type of adjustment ALWAYS when your purchase is within 15 days of the new price. After that, any rep is going to tell you no way. Noone should be telling you to return it and repurchase

I plan to take the phone to the kiosk at Home Depot tonight to see what they can do. Hopefully, they can help me out with this. Thank you for your response--I will keep trying.

I ordered my RAZR V3m from VZW Telesales and
the rep who took my order was kind to give me
the V3m free with my NE2. But he talked me
into getting the accessories bundle of holster,
car charger and a bluetooth headset. I was
able to negotiate on free shipping FedEx
next day. If he is true to his words on
the shipping, I expect the phone tomorrow
at work. We'll see what happens.

How did you get them to tell you about the silver one? I call three times today and no body will say they had it. Do you have the sales persons mailbox number so I can call them? Thank you.

Basically, you'll need to be very specific and persistant. TSALES for new lines know more about this than customer service. If you tell them that it is in the rebate M&P file, and that the SKU is MOTV3mS, and maybe have them conference with telesales to verify it, you can get a cs rep to put in for an upgrade for it, maybe. Trust me- I have ordered it for people. It's there, and today telesales support confirmed to me it's been launched off-sheet as of 6/13, and they are running the $70 price on it all the way till 7/29. They shipped mine to exchange for my grey one today. Our system clearly also has an entry for it in our equip guide, where the rep can be referred if they need to see the sku code and/or entry in the rebate process file. Now...
