Side buttons: Does Volume Shut Off?

i have several friends who have the V3C and each complains that when the phone is in their pocets or purses, the side buttons tend to get pressed and the phone ringer changes to OFF or Vibrate and they never hear it due to this...

Does this happen as much with the V3M?

this has been fixed for the v3m. you have to have the flip open to adjust with the side buttons.
