music quality problem
music (transfered by wm 10, converted from mp3-wma) sound poor--think scratches on a vinyl or cd. could the memory card be the problem( scratched, etc?) or is it the conversion, which should take away some quality (but not like this)? (note--some songs sound better than others, if that helps)

used DB instead of WMP, and worked great for aac encoded btw 128-192 and mp3s btw 128-192 (along w/a few VBR's). you might want to try mp3gain to adjust the volume levels and prevent clipping (has aac support too now) and see if that helps (but only on mp3's and aac, not wma's)

yeah, i DID actually notice that the ONLY files with the issue were the ones from the VERY first run WMP convert/sync i did when i FIRST bought my a950 with the music kit, before i gave up on wmp in favor of DB+card reader.
gonna reconvert and see if the problem (perfectly duplicates on the affected tracks) clears up
