does any one know how is the reception on the K790a?
It is better then w810?

The reception is excellent. I can't compare to the w810i, but since it is also 850MHz and 1900MHz, I'm sure they are very close.

To be honest, the reception is bad. It didn't pass Cingular's standards even though the w810 did. However, it is coming to Dobson, so look out for this bad boy! IMHO, the w810, z710, and w810 are great phones anyways...

I dont know what test Cingular did cause mine has EXCELLENT reception. Cingular probably wanted to lock all the good stuff out of the phone. Like Rogers did with the mp3 as ringers. This phone is a very good buy . Just buy unlocked and you wont be sorry.
