Sony Ericsson K790 / K800
Will K800 work with TMobile USA?
I was just wondering if an unlocked K800 will work with TMobile here in the USA? I am currently trying to order a K790 but the seller only has a K800 and he is trying to tell me that this will wrok just as well as the K790 for my TMobile here in Florida. Can anyone please educate me? 😁 Thanks in advance !!

As long as it isn't locked to another carrier, you should be fine. Go to T-Mobile.com and do a "Personal Coverage Check" and make sure that nowhere you frequent uses the 850MHz band.

T-Mobile only roams on 850 band. So unless you are in the boonies a lot then this shouldn't be a deciding factor for you. (check the coverage maps to be sure)
If you use the phone to get online, then you should not get the K800i and get either the K790i or K790a as both of these use EDGE high speed data transfer (which Tmo uses).
