Sony Ericsson K790 / K800
k790 or k800
I am looking to purchase an unlocked version of this to use in the U.S. through Cingular. Am I better off with the 790 or the 800? Any opinions and thoughts is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You need the K790a.
Only the K790a has GSM 850, which you pretty much need with Cingular. You could get by in some areas without it, but I would strongly recommend against it.
The K800 offers nothing over the K790 when used in the U.S.
