any update to dropped call issue and sw fix ?
I have also been waiting to purchase this phone unlocked, however Im in a low coverage area with cingular according to the maps and have concerns going with T-mobile as well (currently Verizon customer). Can anyone offer up issues with dropped calls or low signal strength with this phone ?

I am a cingular customer and have not experienced any dropped calls yet. I've only had the phone for 3 days though.

I have had the phone for a week, no problems with dropped calls at all. I am on Cingular in the Seattle, WA area.
There is an update on SEUS and I made the update today. It was easy and solved a camera flash issue I was having.
The rf it very good on par with the Nokia 6230 and 6682, it held singnal today in an area that I have lost a call on every phone I have had.
So far I am impressed. I purchased mine from lala west on Ebay.
