MP3 ringtones?

All these questions and responses...I missed something myself... Do MP3s work for ringtones? I left my data cable somewhere and have not tried..... I used the .pmd tones from the past. Let me know... if they do, theres plenty of funny/movie/southpark tones in the yahoo group forum that I made for my girlfriend's tmobile razr. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/samsung scha930

I know its here but seems like mixed info..instructions...I would like to know someones confirmed process....so when I get my damn data cable back, I can throw them in. Thanks....sorry for flooding the forum, but, had the time and felt like getting something going...
