I am not going to sign up with a company that charges you for other people's, companies texts. Is there a way to block these? I am with Sprint now, and do not accept these. Any suggestions.

Call customer service and ask for the feature to be disabled. When I signed up back in 2002, I called Verizon Wireless to have the feature disabled. I did that when I had the Motorola 120c, carried over to the Kyocera 2235, and to my current phone, Samsung a650. I also don't want to accept text messages, as I don't use it. It doesn't matter what phone you have, the feature can be disabled.

My suggestion is get Verizon when your plan is up. Expensive but worth it... I do alot of fishing in remote areas and still manage to get a signal most of the time and only drop calls if the phone has been dropped too many times. They always offer promo text packages for like 4.99 also if you call and hustle.
