In what format is your music? WMA's and mp3's can be copied and pasted into your SD card. The only catch is that you may have to generate an MP3 folder on your SD card, so that the phone can find those files. As for WMA... just drag and drop them into your SD card.
Default playback setting is set for WMA files. To play MP3 files, you have to enter the sub menu in order to play them. The only trouble with MP3s is that the cover has to stay open, or the music will stop.
