I just got a cg225 and am undecided whether to keep it or return it. My current phone that this may replace is an LG vi-125 on Sprint, which I like a lot due to its simplicity, compact design, and call quality.
Things I like so far:
--Ergonomically comfortable to hold and talk on
--pretty good build quality
--call quality seems excellent so far. Probably more clear and natural than my Sprint phone. Also, good range of volumes in the earpiece.
--phone keeps track of minutes and kilobytes you've used. You can reset the counters at any time.
--battery life is excellent
--camera is typical for a lower end camera phone...it could be worse.

I found a couple more things I don't like about this cg225 after using it:

It depends on what you want in a phone. Myself, I prefer the CG300 even though the talk time is not as good as the CG2225. My wife has a CG225 and I have a CG300 and I love it. You can talk on the speaker with the phone closed. The CG225 is a very good phone if you like basic, which my wife does. She is 70 and I am 71. Hee Hee. The CG300 is also hearing aid compatible. plmassey

All LG phones are of good quality and can last a long time. But most LG's have poor battery life and menu options. I have to charge my phone every nite and dont know if i need another battery. Sometimes at work if i forget to charge my phone goes out and mine has poor reception also. Hopefully this one has better reception.
