Just ordered my Q (sprint)
Just ordered my Q for sprint. Do any of you have any pointers or suggestions for a first time Q user?
Just want to make sure that i don't do something stupid with it, and also looking for any hints/tips y'all might have.

1. You should definateley spring for the $15 Power Vision pack that offers unlimited data usage. 2. Get a case as well, to keep it looking pretty. 3. You might wanna grab a mini-sd card of at least 512mb. I just got my Q three days ago, and I love it. Just like you wouldn't buy a car w/o wheels, get those accessories to get you rolling.

i wouldnt download nontrusted files into the phone without knowing exactly where the file is comming from. remember this is a small computer. it too can get viruses

I will confirm that. I have the VZW black Q and swapped it under warranty for a software glitch that caused the keys and apps to behave erratically. Im near certain, however, that its something that I downloaded. because it only misbehaved when I started trying to download software from some unfamiliar sources. other than that, my Q has been perfect. my new one is also 100 % awesome.
my tips= Get pocket nester and play Nintendo nes games on the Q.
get a good case or other carrying solution cause it small but can still be annoying in the pocket. Get an extended battery, 1 gig+ memory card, and some stereo bluetooth headphones. The motorola 820 is what I suggest for that. I got them and they are phenominal. best wishes.

Got my Q Friday and i really like it. It will definitly take some getting used to, but it's a nice phone.
Feels much sturdier than i thought it would.
I have one issue that i can't quite figure out. I synced it with my computer with no problem. I had screwed something up initially when setting up the phone and needed to do a master reset (no biggie). The problem that i have is that now when i try to sync with my computer, it is showing that this phone has never been synced before.
That makes sense to me, but with my old treo 650 and 700p i was able to just grab the old profile and re-load everything back onto the phone. Can i do that with the Q? If so, how? I can't figure it out.
