Motorola Q or Treo 650?
Can someone please help me? I actually work for one of the largest retailers for VZW but it's in a very small town. So basically we won't see the q for probably another month. I've never owned a PDA so this would be my first. My phone was stolen last week so I'm using my POS nokia until I get my new one and I've been wanting the Q since I first saw it a few months ago but I'm planning on buying a macbook and it won't sync. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get around this or the pros and cons between the two? Thanks a bunch.

there is 3rd party mac software that'll sync with the Q. If you look around the web you should find out how to do it.

Do you use your phone as an MP3 player?
One thing that's always bugged me about the Treos is the fact that they put the headset jack on the bottom of the phone, making it awkward to put in your shirt pocket and listen to music at the same time. That even goes for a regular wired headset too.
The Q has the headset jack on the side near the top. My current XV6600 has it on the top.

As a fellow Mac-tard I would probably recommend getting the Treo 650. I have used a Q (pre-production) and a lot of other Windows devices (6600, 6700, 6515, 8125, 2125, etc.) and always come back to the Treo. I would suggest getting the 700p unless you have no hope of getting EVDO in your area anytime soon.

I've used both and the 650 is way superior to the Q. Less buggy.

However.....The Q is Windows OS and not hindered by Verizon's bluetooth blocking. That's why I have both.
