E62 and H700 Moto

I've paired the two but can't get the phone to switch to the H700. Any ideas what I've done wrong. The H700 was functioning on my treo the other day.

turn the phone off and back on again with a hard reset while phone is on just pull the battery out the back
should work fine
mine does
