Nokia E62 / E61
E61 - WAP & MMS on former ATTWS network
I was wondering if there are still some ATTWS GSM/GPS users out their reluctantly hanging on to ATTWS data/rate plans *intro GSM unlimited everything for $99.
Just purchased the E61 and want to load mMode data app onto the phone.

Where did you get your E61? Is it a non-US model?
I am waiting for the E61, but hesitant to buy a non-US model. I bought a non-US Nokia phone a while back and it died, but no warranty because I used in a out-of-territory market.

My cousin has a holdout account with ATT/Cingular. The phone works. Since it has Wi-Fi you can avoid using the data-plan most of the time anyway. It is my understanding Cingular may introduce this phone without Wi-Fi. I have had no problems with Nokia regarding warranty. In fact I have changed all of my phones from moto to Nokia due to the superior handling of warranty and support. Good luck.
