Nokia E62 / E61
NOKIA E61 - WLAN Problem
I got the phone and using it with Tmobile in Miami FL area. All seems to be fine with exception of WLAN. According with manual, i have to go to SETTINS, CONNECTIVITY, WLAN and turn it on or off. However, when in CONNECTIVITY, i do not see WLAN Icon.
Do i need to flash the OS in order to get that? or is there any other tricks? I played with this phone for 2 days already and even asked for a friend to do so. Both unable to get it to work.

I do not think you need to flash it. I had to specify which network it was using in the list I made of available networks. Settings whether the network is open or encrypted and mac address are also needed. Hope this helps.

Hello, I had the same problem, and got it to work fine, but never did see an icon where they said is. I go to Menu:Connect: Conn. Mgr.: Alaviable WLAN and the ones available show up there. Works fine so far.
